The National Science Resources Center (NSRC) was established in 1985 by the Smithsonian Institution and the National Academies. Its mission is to improve the learning and teaching of science for all students in the United States and throughout the world. More

NSRC Executive Director Sally Goetz Shuler was honored by the Mexican Ministry of Education and the US-Mexico Foundation for Science at a meeting in Monterrey, Mexico. The award recognizes Ms. Shuler's leadership in inquiry-based science education in the US and abroad.
